Basildon's decided to leave their first team behind for this match. I volunteered to sit this one out but John didn't want to play, Dan won in no time, Jim wasn't far behind, Ellen's opponent sacrificed to give her a strong attack and Graham won pretty well, his opponent making a fight of it. I was lucky, being taken into a K & P ending against Daniel Hardy-Wallace and my endgame play was almost as unconvincing as his was. I was almost certainly worse at one point.
