The annual Customs Club Problem Solving evening was attended by the Club's stalwart members, absentees missing a treat. Approximately level partnerships were formed: Ellen & Graham, Nick & Dan, John & Tye, Peter & Chris. Mike set the problems as two 6-question papers, an hour each. All of us made pretty good attempts at the problems but scores were not kept and so no winners were announced.
Position no. 4 has at least two possible solutions - it's a 150-year-old problem which hadn't been computer-checked. Sorry, no solutions yet: you will have to solve them for yourself!
