Preliminary Rounds
In the preliminary rounds the objective is to qualify for the quarterfinals. The entrants play other Juniors but they may only play the same person once. The top 8 players will go forward to the quarterfinals. The top 8 will be decided on the basis of their best 3 results. In the case of equality for the last qualifying places the qualifiers will be those who played the highest graded opponents.
